Organisation: Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation (ESPO)

WorkLocation: Barnsdale Way, Grove Park, Leicester. LE19 1ES

WorkerCategory: Fixed Location Worker - with possibility of hybrid working.

Salary: £35,451 - £39,165 per annum (Pro rata for part time)

WorkingHours: 37 hours per week

About the Role

To deliver data‑driven insights that enhance logistics and supply chain operations, supporting continuous improvement initiatives across ESPO. The role will focus on identifying inefficiencies, streamlining processes, and enabling strategic decision‑making through robust data analysis.

About You

To apply for this post, you must:

  • Develop reporting mechanisms for data within Operations. Create reports for management teams including comparative analyses of current and prospective ways of working.
  • Monitor industry developments and apply best practices to enhance internal processes. Liaise with suppliers and prepare tender documents as necessary.
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret logistics and supply chain data to identify trends and performance gaps.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to uncover operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Produce, develop and maintain a variety of databases, spreadsheets & reports.
  • Gather, store, process, index and retrieve data efficiently and accurately.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular audits and validation processes.
  • Develop and maintain new and existing dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Present findings and actionable recommendations to stakeholders at various levels.
