Logistics Coordinator (Stores/Warehouse) – Rochford, Essex

We are currently recruiting for a Logistics (Stores/Warehouse) Co‑ordinator to join our Traffic team in Rochford, Essex. The role is a Monday‑to‑Friday daytime position. Ideal candidates have experience working in a warehouse or store environment, ideally within a Traffic Signals or Traffic background.

Key Deliverables
  • Deliver logistics activities supporting the function, ensuring inventory accuracy of Telent and customer consigned assets.
  • Hold a forklift licence (a Bendi licence is advantageous).
  • Achieve continuous improvements within the coordination function.
  • Validate supplier invoices with services received.
  • Create and receive Oracle orders.
  • Attend required meetings.
  • Maintain a safe store/warehouse, performing regular housekeeping and ensuring the area is free from obstructions.
  • Maintain a computer stock database, ensuring traceability of all parts.
  • Carry out regular stock checks and allocate costs to correct Oracle project codes.
  • Report any part discrepancies or issues to management.
  • Adhere to quality management procedures.
  • Provide Goods In service, checking delivery quantities and other Goods In responsibilities.
  • Pick parts for jobs.
Responsibilities
  • Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports as required.
  • Provide analysis and investigation on stock queries.
  • Control documents on UCM.
  • Drive forklift truck and Bendi.
  • Create and maintain processes for activities carried out.
  • Manage the logistics mailbox daily to fulfil customer requests and assist with queries.
  • Monitor assets on Remedy for spare parts management and RMA process.
  • Provide spend analysis reports for engineer consumables.
  • Maintain a central record of all stock movements.
  • Manage assets under the control of Telent spares management processes to provide accurate visibility of all deployed inventories.
  • Coordinate usage of the Telent Bybox account.
  • Undergo a drug and alcohol test for safety reasons.
