Monday - Thursday, 08:00 - 16:30, Friday, 08:00 - 13:00

Do you have experience in supply chain and logistics? Are you looking for a Christmas temp role, working for a leading manufacturing group in Oprington, Kent?

As the Logistics Coordinator, you will ensure the smooth, accurate and cost-effective flow of materials and products into and out of the facility. You will interface with production, purchasing, sales, warehousing, and external carriers/freight forwarders to facilitate global and UK shipments and receptions.

The Role:

• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics: schedule and track shipments of raw materials, components, finished goods.
• Work with freight forwarders, carriers and third-party logistics providers to arrange transport (road and ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare and manage shipping documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, export declarations) for UK and international shipments.

The Candidate:

• Proven experience in a logistics, shipping, or supply chain coordination role (preferably in a manufacturing or export-oriented environment).
• Good understanding of UK & international shipping processes, export documentation and carriers.
• Comfortable working with logistics or ERP systems and MS Office (Excel etc.).
• A commutable distance to Orpington
