Job summary

A logistics company in Tonbridge is searching for a Logistics Coordinator to lead the distribution team and coordinate with hauliers. The ideal candidate should have experience in logistics, strong organisational skills, and a proactive mindset. Offering a salary of £35k-£38k with 23 days of holiday, this is a Monday to Friday role with occasional weekend work.

Logistics Coordinator | Fresh Produce | Kent

Do you have hands on experience planning and working with hauliers while coordinating the dispatch team in the warehouse? If so this role could be the one for you!

What you'll be doing:
  • Leading the distribution team to drive performance standards and ensure a smooth operation within the dispatch area.
  • Liaising with hauliers across multiple clients to coordinate deliveries in accordance with orders to maintain high customer service levels.
  • Supporting the admin team and adding to their own personal development.
  • Working with the wider team looking at planning and focusing on creating a culture of continuous performance.
What you'll need:
  • Experience in a dispatch, transport or logistics coordination role, ideally within food, FMCG, or fresh produce.
  • Excellent organisational skills with an ability to manage time-critical operations.
  • A working knowledge of transport legislation and Health & Safety compliance.
  • Clear communication and confidence liaising with multiple departments.
  • Proactive problem‑solving and a continuous improvement mindset.
