Logistics Coordinator - Stockport - £37,100 - Hybrid Working

The Situation

A leading train manufacturer is looking to hire a Logistics Coordinator to manage heavy logistics movements, focusing on repairable spares (e.g., bogies, wheelsets) sent for overhaul and repair, especially between the UK and Spain. The role will be at the heart of complex logistics operations and acts as a key contact for both internal teams and external suppliers, supporting material managers and driving operational excellence.

You will ensure consistent material availability and timely transport for repairable spares and identify and implement improvements to logistics operations and supplier reliability.

The Opportunity

Job Overview

• Manage heavy logistics movements, focusing on repairable spares (e.g., bogies, wheelsets) sent for overhaul and repair, especially between the UK and Spain.

Location / Working Arrangement

• Hybrid – Stockport (3 days per week)


• Occasional travel to other Manchester site
