Logistics Coordinator

A well-established provider of scientific equipment is seeking a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to join their team. Based in Hampshire, UK, the company operates globally, delivering high-quality, technically advanced equipment to clients across a wide range of sectors.

Position Overview

As part of the continued expansion, the Logistics Coordinator will manage the day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring the efficient and compliant shipment of goods worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and monitor inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Coordinate dispatch and delivery through third-party carriers.
  • Negotiate and secure transportation rates.
  • Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and transport companies.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Production teams on order management and issue resolution.
  • Maintain awareness of contract terms, including delivery and payment conditions.
  • Track and resolve shipping errors.
  • Prepare and maintain logistics documentation in compliance with HM Customs regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to all transportation laws and regulations.
  • Manage customs procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation.
  • Generate Certificates of Origin and compile supporting documents as needed.
  • Identify and resolve logistical challenges with innovative solutions.
  • Continuously seek improvements in logistical efficiency.
