Job summary

Freight Personnel is seeking a Logistics Co-ordinator for our Gatwick-based client. The role operates Monday to Friday, 6am–3pm, office-based with on-site parking and a company pension. A strong focus on customer service and time-critical logistics is required.

The successful candidate will coordinate daily tasks, manage time inputs, and support the team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent people skills and relationship-building at all levels.
• Experience in SameDay Courier/Time-Critical logistics preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

So, what do you need ?

• Excellent people skills with experience of building relationships at all levels
• Ideally experience working for a Sameday Corier, Time Critical Logistics, Freight Forwarder or similar Transport and Logistics Company
• Ability to clearly understand instructions, action them, and know when decisions should be referred to a line manager
• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to manage and co-ordinate time available for specific tasks, and monitor time inputs to complete specific tasks
• Ability to meet challenging targets and deadlines
• Willingness to be multi-skilled in other administrative disciplines across the business
• PC literate, possessing a good knowledge of MS packages i.e., Outlook, Word, and Excel
