Overview

Vickerstock are delighted to be working in partnership with a global manufacturer in the appointment of a Logistics Coordinator to join their established and high-performing logistics team.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious and detail-oriented professional to take ownership of a key role within one of Northern Ireland's most recognised engineering brands. You'll be at the heart of operations - coordinating transport, managing freight costs, ensuring compliance, and supporting the smooth delivery of product to a worldwide customer base.

Responsibilities
  • Leading and managing all transport coordination between multiple
  • Sourcing freight costings, maintaining rate records, and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Preparing and completing export documentation in line with legal, customer, and carrier requirements.
  • Supporting internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with all logistics regulations.
  • Managing customer queries efficiently, ensuring best-in-class service delivery.
  • Building strong, lasting relationships with key contacts and suppliers across the network.
  • Communicating clearly with stakeholders to ensure the timely and successful delivery of finished products.
What You\'ll Bring
  • Ideally 2 years' administrative experience, ideally within logistics or supply chain.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy when handling documentation.
  • Confident working across MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English (Grade C or above).
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience in a high-volume, global shipping environment.
  • Working knowledge of customs formalities and export compliance.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP systems.
  • Exposure to multiple transport modes (Heavy Haulage, Ro-Ro, etc.)
