Department: Freight Forwarding
Reporting to: Freight Manager

Job Purpose

Kinnes Shipping act as agents only. From our head office in Dundee, we're looking for support in facilitating daily freight operations and associated documentation. This role is predominantly administrative and customer service tasks.

Main Duties
  • Manage the end-to-end process for import, export and domestic shipments
  • Proactively communicate with clients, suppliers and port terminal contacts to ensure smooth operations
  • Prepare and submit accurate UK customs declarations
  • Create and issue all necessary export documentation
  • Assist in the development of international trade partners to ensure best value and service
Additional Duties
  • Provide occasional cover for Ships Agency
  • New and existing client outreach
  • Deliver regular updates across social media platforms to promote the brand and company image
  • Rotational out of hours on call rota
