Overview

Location: Abingdon

Salary: £32,500 per year

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm

What you'll be doing
  • Organising daily collections and deliveries through a pallet network system
  • Supporting driver dispatch in the mornings and afternoons
  • Handling booking queries, delivery updates and claims with speed and accuracy
  • Liaising with depots, drivers and customers to resolve issues before they become problems
  • Keeping digital and paper records accurate (labels, barcodes, invoices, claims)
  • Working closely with the warehouse to manage inbound and outbound pallets
  • Stepping in to help teammates and keep the operation running like clockwork
What you'll bring
  • Experience in a transport office, traffic desk, or logistics admin environment
  • A confident communicator who's comfortable with drivers, depots and customers alike
  • Strong attention to detail
  • IT savvy - comfortable with MS Office and ideally Transport Management Systems
  • Local knowledge of Oxfordshire and surrounding routes would be a plus
  • A calm, practical problem-solver with a sense of humour when things get busy
