Salary: Up to £32,000 per year (depending on experience)

Hours: 4 on / 4 off shift pattern - Days (06:00-18:00)

We are now looking for a Logistics Co-ordinator to join our busy transport office in Ambergate. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational and communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Role Overview

As a Logistics Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in managing daily transport operations — ensuring collections and deliveries run smoothly, supporting our driver team, and maintaining clear communication with customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily transport plan, proactively monitoring deliveries and collections.
  • Communicate with customers, drivers, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain excellent service.
  • Organise and confirm daily collections, ensuring jobs are completed accurately and on time.
  • Brief and debrief drivers, providing clear instructions, paperwork, and start times.
  • Update and maintain booking systems and transport records in real time.
  • Support wider business projects and act as a key point of contact within the Transport Office.
  • Handle incoming calls and emails, providing timely responses and updates.
  • Assist with administrative or yard tasks during quieter periods.
About You
  • Experience in a transport, logistics, or office-based coordination role.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident using Transport Management Systems (TMS) and general IT platforms.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to work effectively under pressure.
