Overview

Logistics Coordinator. We are looking for a reliable, proactive individual with a can do attitude who has experience in a logistics/scheduling role. Candidates must be computer literate (Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook), have excellent communication skills (on all levels) and be very organised with excellent planning and time management skills and the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Managing all delivery schedules
  • Delivery paperwork is in order and correct (e.g. delivery notes)
  • Booking in forthcoming deliveries, deliveries with customers, and organising collection of goods
  • Liaison with sales team, delivery drivers
  • Organising and arranging vehicle checks and maintenance (tyres, windscreens, forklift, insurance and recovery)
  • Managing of fuel card accounts, congestion charges/tolls etc.
  • Booking overnights for drivers
