Job description

The Staffing Network is antional suplier of recruitment solutions and is workig with our established client in Boston.

A new vacancy has arisen for a Logistics Co-Ordinator within the Network Team, at our Boston Depot.

Monday - Friday, 12.00 noon- 8.30pm / Saturday 7.00am-12.00pm (rota system)

The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate excellent communication skills, possess a good telephone manner, provide an in-depth level of customer service and be proficient in problem solving, transport planning and working as a team.

Key aspects of the role include:
  • Provide an efficient, responsive and professional service when handling all incoming and outgoing calls with customers, depots and drivers
  • Deal with queries and issues by email and telephone, quickly and thoroughly
  • Book jobs onto bespoke IT systems
  • Adhere to both company and statutory legislation and requirements to ensure the efficient running of the business
  • Coordinate deliveries and collections
Skills / experience we are looking for:
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, to prioritise tasks and be organised and methodical
  • Experience in similar role / environment would be beneficial
  • Must be fully computer literate
  • Transport & logistics experience preferred
  • Administrative experience essential
  • Good customer service skills and solutions orientated approach
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must be able to work using own initiative and have a flexible, 'can-do' attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
