Carbon60 are currently looking for a Logistics Business Controller to join their client based in Broughton.

This position is a contract role running until the end of November 2026. As the Logistics Business Controller, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and performance of this organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Planning and challenging the business operational environment, including strategy, governance, and constraints.
  • Developing and running financial models, simulations, and scenarios to support decision‑making.
  • Anticipating financial risks and opportunities, and advising on mitigation strategies.
  • Producing accurate financial reporting and analysing deviations to recommend corrective actions.
  • Identifying cost optimisation and competitiveness initiatives, and monitoring their materialisation.
  • Supporting the execution of financial processes, including resource review, headcount targets, and cost reallocation.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a similar financial planning and analysis role, preferably within the logistics or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, to effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
  • A proactive and solutions‑oriented mindset, with the ability to anticipate and address financial challenges.
  • Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
