Carbon60 are currently looking for a Logistics Business Controller to join their client based in Broughton. This position is contract role running until the end of November 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Planning and challenging the business operational environment, including strategy, governance, and constraints
  • Developing and running financial models, simulations, and scenarios to support decision-making
  • Anticipating financial risks and opportunities, and advising on mitigation strategies
  • Producing accurate financial reporting and analysing deviations to recommend corrective actions
  • Identifying cost optimisation and competitiveness initiatives, and monitoring their materialisation
  • Supporting the execution of financial processes, including resource review, headcount targets, and cost reallocation
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a similar financial planning and analysis role, preferably within the logistics or manufacturing industry
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to anticipate and address financial challenges
  • Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements
