Logistics Assistant - Join Our Growing Team!

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Assistant to support our expanding shipping and logistics operations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong office experience who's eager to develop within the fast-paced world of global logistics.

What We're Looking For:
  • Background in an office environment with proven customer service and data processing skills.
  • Strong Excel skills – vlookups, pivot tables, and (more importantly) knowing when and how to use them.
  • Highly organized, resilient, and keen to learn.
  • Experience in Shipping & Logistics is preferred (especially in retail or food), but not essential.
What You'll Be Doing:

In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting our logistics and shipping team with day-to-day operations, while developing the skills to confidently manage the department and cover your line manager when required.

  • Maintaining and updating shipping trackers in Excel and internal systems (production dates, goods received, shipping info, new stock lines).
  • Booking in distributor stock, generating system invoices, and consolidating container shipments.
  • Liaising with global warehouses to manage inbound/outbound stock movements.
  • Communicating with distributors: updates on stock, manual invoices & packing lists, payment/collection announcements, and follow-ups.
  • Producing weekly reports: purchase order vs shipping dates, stock in shipment, late vs early stock, cost per pair, and more.
  • Assisting with shipping documentation: Certificates of Origin, FCRs, Letters of Credit, etc.

Fast-paced and dynamic environment with clear opportunities for growth.

Be part of a supportive team that values learning and progression.

Gain hands-on experience in international logistics and shipping operations.
