Overview

Job title: Logistics Specialist

Report line: Logistics Manager

Location: Seoul office

Major responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The position is responsible for all logistics operations & activities of Michael Kors Korea, Jimmy Choo, Versace Korea.

Inbound Management
  • Coordinating all inbound shipments to meet on product launching plan
  • Performing analysis on freight cost to determine optimized shipment mode
  • Monitoring vendor (shipment) compliance
  • Managing shipment discrepancy
  • Re-posting missing ASN to warehouse on time
Customs Clearance
  • Managing customs clearance to ensure 100% compliance in regulations and acts
  • Coordinating applying FTA
  • HTS classification
  • Import requirement preparation of non-commercial goods for Marketing, Fixture for open stores
Outbound Management
  • Coordinating all outbound shipments to ship out from warehouse to stores
  • Stock Transfer from Korea to another region
  • Exportation for sample stocks to HQ in quarterly
Return Management
  • Managing return discrepancy between physical product and system
  • Stock Adjustment in system
Inventory Management
  • Managing inventory discrepancy to ensure 0% loss in the warehouse
  • Inventory Adjustment in system
  • Write off and Destruction
  • Aging stock management
Warehouse (3PL) Management
  • DC operation scheduling for 3 brands by priority management
  • Review daily operation results
  • Warehouse daily capacity monitoring
  • Warehouse productivity monitoring based on volumes
  • Logistics cost management
  • Logistics Issue resolution
Delivery and Transportation Management
  • Delivery mode (last-mile delivery service or truck or wing-body) determination
  • Claim for Wrong/damage delivery issue
Logistics Cost Management
  • Support for logistics cost forecast vs actual cost
  • Cost saving optimization
Etc.
  • Developing and improvement on Standard Operation Procedures (SOP)
  • Payment Request for month closing
  • Logistics project support (e.g. SAP migration/integration, 4PL mode execution)
  • Coordinating product master and label tag price creation and change
  • Customs Audit and Financial Audit Support
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2-6 years work experience
  • Experience in fashion/luxury/retail industry/multinational company preferred
  • Strong and clear communication skills verbally and in writing both Korean and English
  • Connecting and interpersonal skills, build strong relationships and communicate effectively with related stakeholders
  • Positive, proactive and can-do approach
  • Highly proficient in MS Office programs
  • JDA, SAP, Stealth Experience would be a plus
