We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Operative responsible for the day-to-day portering and mail services for our Mitie client base in London. This position calls for an organised team player, committed to achieving the highest standard of work within a busy corporate environment.
You should be able to coordinate and have the ability to take responsibility for work, administration and the collection of mail and parcels across the logistics team. You should also be capable of working in a fast-paced environment following health and safety regulations whilst staying compliant.
You will be able to work with machinery to scan parcels such as an X-ray machine, be able to handle lifting and carrying large items following Manual Handling policies as be able to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ideally, you will have a background in working in a facilities maintenance environment or within waste handling for confidential items as well as having a strong knowledge of numbers by maintaining a high level of accuracy.
