Registered Veterinary Nurse – Locum

Maidstone | Small Animal Practice | Permanent role | Full or Part Time Hours | £18–£22/hr

Responsibilities

• Permanent locum RVN role – flexible dates to suit you
• Supportive team – 2 vets, 2 RVNs, practice manager & reception
• Wide caseload: rabbit, cat, dog dentals, surgery, nurse consults
• Free parking, employee discount & bonus scheme
• Supportive environment with a stable weekday rota
• No OOH or Sundays

What you’ll be doing

Every day will bring variety – you’ll assist with:

• Rabbit, cat and dog dentals
• Routine surgery & vaccinations
• General check‑ups & nurse consults
• Radiography, ultrasonography, microscopy & in‑house lab work
• End‑of‑life care & client education

You’ll work alongside two experienced vets and a supportive reception and management team. Shifts are Monday–Friday only, with no overnight accommodation provided, so local locums or those happy to commute are especially welcome.
