The successful candidate will lead trauma lists, plan theatre sessions, and participate in Virtual Fracture Clinic duties while contributing to daily patient management and teaching within the department.

Qualifications

• Fully registered with GMC and Specialist Register or equivalent.
• CCT (Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training) or CESR at interview.
• Higher academic qualifications such as MD or PhD.

Responsibilities

• Undertake weekly trauma operating lists and regular fracture/acute clinics including Virtual Fracture Clinic.
• Provide day-to-day management of patients including ward rounds and clinical decision making.
• Cover trauma lists and fracture clinics, including on-call rotations (1 in 8 weekends).
