Dream Medical is currently working with a Community Hospital in Gravesham that requires a locum Speech Therapist.

The hospital is looking for a locum Speech Therapist to work full-time hours, Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30, to start ASAP on a fixed long-term contract.

Responsibilities include:
• Identifying children’s developmental speech and communication difficulties/disorders
• Assessing and treating swallowing and communication difficulties from various causes, e.g., congenital problems like cleft palate or acquired disorders after stroke or injury
• Developing, implementing, and revising treatment programmes
• Advising carers and training professionals in therapy delivery
• Assessing communication environments
• Monitoring and evaluating clients’ progress
• Working with clients individually and in groups to deliver therapy
