Locum Property Lawyer – Full Time – Up to £60 per hour umbrella – Remote Working – Initial 6 months

Venn Group’s specialist Legal team are currently recruiting for a Locum Property Lawyer to join a Local Authority on an initial 6-month assignment. The role offers fully remote working arrangements and presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced Property Lawyer to support a busy team with an ongoing disposals project.

The Role:
Position: Locum Property Lawyer
Duration: Initial 6 months with the possibility for extension
Rate: Up to £60 per hour umbrella

Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting a disposals project involving both residential and commercial properties
• Handling leasehold and freehold titles
• Advising clients on the sales process and associated legal matters
• Drafting and negotiating contracts, transfers, and other legal documentation
• Managing transactions through to completion

Ideal Candidate:
• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive with recent Local Government or Public Sector property experience
• Strong working knowledge of property law and transactions
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client communication skills
