Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking Practice Nurses to work flexibly across local GP practices in Ware, offering sessional bookings that fit your availability.

You will deliver treatment room clinics, support chronic disease management, carry out immunisations where trained, and perform health checks within established care pathways. DBS checks are required and you will join a supportive, well-organised primary care team.

Qualifications

• NMC-registered nurse with primary care experience.
• Immunisation and cytology training beneficial.
• Confident in routine nursing tasks and treatment room clinics.
• Enhanced DBS is required.

Responsibilities

• Delivering treatment room clinics including wound care and dressings
• Supporting chronic disease management within established care plans
• Carrying out immunisations for adults and children (if trained)
• Undertaking smear tests where cytology-trained
• Performing NHS Health Checks and lifestyle assessments
• Recording accurate clinical notes for each service
• Assisting with general nursing duties as required
