Locum Ready is recruiting Locum Practice Nurses to work in Hawkhurst and surrounding areas. Flexible, sessional work across primary care services with emphasis on treatment rooms, chronic disease management and preventive clinics.

You will support multiple primary care teams through routine procedures, long-term reviews and general nursing duties, in a well-structured and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• NMC-registered nurse with primary care experience.
• Immunisation and cytology training beneficial.
• Confident in routine nursing tasks and treatment room clinics.
• Enhanced DBS checks required.

Responsibilities

• Delivering treatment room clinics including wound care and dressings.
• Supporting chronic disease management within established care plans.
• Carrying out immunisations for adults and children (if trained).
• Undertaking smear tests where cytology-trained.
• Performing NHS Health Checks and lifestyle assessments.
• Recording accurate clinical notes for each service.
