Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking qualified Practice Nurses to provide flexible locum support across UK primary care in Forth. Nurses with experience in treatment room duties, chronic disease management and preventive health clinics are encouraged to apply.

You will work with multiple primary care teams, performing routine nursing tasks, immunisations where trained, and health checks, with bookings varying by availability.

Qualifications

• NMC-registered nurse with primary care experience is required.
• Immunisation and cytology training beneficial.
• Enhanced DBS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver treatment room clinics including wound care and dressings.
• Support chronic disease management within care plans.
• Carry out immunisations for adults and children (if trained).
• Undertake smear tests where cytology-trained.
• Perform NHS Health Checks and lifestyle assessments.
• Record accurate clinical notes for each service.
• Assist with general nursing duties as required.
