Job summary

Dream Medical is recruiting a Practice Nurse for a busy Medical Practice in Stevenage. The role is a part-time locum position, 24 hours per week over 3 days, with flexible clinic times for the right candidate.

The successful nurse will be experienced in autonomous primary care nursing, including New Patient Screening, NHS Health Checks, vaccinations, wound care and management of chronic conditions. NMC registration and eligibility to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Autonomous working with strong clinical skills.
• Experience in primary care and health promotion.
• Skills in screening and vaccinations.
• Good IT skills for patient records and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide full range of practice nursing services.
• Conduct health checks, immunisations and chronic disease care.
• Assist with wound care and nursing procedures.
