Job summary

Pulse Healthcare in Nottingham is seeking a Band 7 Locum PET-CT Technologist to join our imaging team on an ongoing basis. The role offers an attractive hourly pay rate of £35–£36 and involves 9.5-hour shift days with immediate start available.

You will perform PET-CT scans, ensure high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning, and maintain safe working practices. The successful candidate will hold HCPC registration, a radiography or nuclear medicine qualification, and

Qualifications

Degree in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or equivalent qualification.
Current HCPC registration or equivalent.
Significant PET-CT imaging experience, preferably Band 7.
Proficiency in operating PET-CT scanners and related imaging equipment.
Strong knowledge of radiation safety and protection protocols.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
Continued professional development in PET-CT imaging.

Responsibilities

Perform PET-CT scans and ensure high-quality imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning.
Operate PET-CT equipment and manage patient preparation and care during procedures.
Maintain detailed records and ensure safety standards and protocols are followed.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver efficient patient care.
