Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Consultant Paediatric Nephrologist for a 10 PA locum post at Leeds General Infirmary, available asap for six months. The successful applicant will join a dedicated Paediatric Nephrology team and contribute to tertiary nephrology care while supporting a 1:6 on-call rota.

Applicants should hold RCPCH accreditation (or equivalent) and be on the Specialist Register or within six months of admission, with established Paediatric Nephrology experience.

Qualifications

• Accreditation in the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health or equivalent and specialist registration (or within six months of admission for trainees)
• Established skills in Paediatric Nephrology
• Excellent communication and team-working skills, with a strong commitment to teaching and service development
• Flexibility for full-time, part-time or job-share arrangements

Responsibilities

• Deliver 10 programmed activities (PAs) supporting the Paediatric Nephrology team
• Provide tertiary nephrology care
• Contribute to a 1:6 on-call rota
• Based at Leeds General Infirmary
