Job summary

A leading children's healthcare provider in London is seeking a Locum Consultant in Paediatric Haematology to provide clinical services to infants and children with haematological conditions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience, necessary qualifications, and be part of a collaborative team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of £109,725 to £145,478 a year pro rata, per annum.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Paediatric Haematology.
• Experience of teaching students and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience of clinical leadership or management.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical service to infants and children with malignant haematological conditions.
• Join a team of consultants for the investigation and management of patients.
• Conduct daily ward rounds and outpatient clinics.

Skills

High level written and oral communication skills

Ability to organise and prioritise own workload

Ability to work under pressure

Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills

Education

GMC specialist registration

MRCP, MRCPCH or equivalent

CCT/CCST in Haematology or equivalent training

Higher degree - PhD, MD or equivalent

Formal teaching qualification
