Locum Ready is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to work for a GP practice in Luton. You will deliver autonomous NP-led clinics, provide efficient triage support and help maintain continuity of care for patients.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with relevant clinical experience.
• Independent Prescribing qualification desirable.
• Background in primary, urgent or community care.
• Confident autonomous clinician with strong clinical judgement.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or Vision is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Run minor illness and urgent care NP clinics.
• Telephone triage and patient streaming.
• Assess, diagnose and manage undifferentiated presentations.
• Prescribe independently where qualified.
• Review investigations and action follow-up tasks.
• Ensure accurate documentation within the clinical system.
• Support GPs and Practice Nurses with core clinical duties.
