Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to work at a GP practice in Bracknell, delivering autonomous NP-led clinics and urgent care sessions. You’ll triage, assess and manage minor illnesses, prescribe independently where qualified, and support the daily clinical activity with a friendly team.

Regular or ad-hoc sessions are available with long-term opportunities. EMIS/SystmOne/Vision familiarity and an Enhanced DBS are desirable to ensure smooth patient care and documentation.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with relevant experience in primary or urgent care.
• Independent prescribing qualification desirable but not required.
• Experience with EMIS, SystmOne or Vision is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run minor illness and urgent care NP clinics.
• Provide telephone triage and patient streaming.
• Assess, diagnose and manage undifferentiated presentations.
• Prescribe independently where qualified.
• Review investigations and action follow-up tasks.
• Ensure accurate documentation within the clinical system.
• Support GPs and Practice Nurses with core clinical duties.
