Locum Ready is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to deliver autonomous NP-led clinics at a GP practice in Andover. The role focuses on minor illness management, supporting urgent on‑the‑day demand and contributing to the smooth running of daily clinical activity.

You will lead NP clinics, provide telephone triage and patient streaming, assess and manage undifferentiated presentations, and prescribe independently where qualified.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with relevant experience.
• Independent Prescribing qualification desirable.
• Background in primary care, urgent care or community nursing.
• Confident autonomous clinician with strong clinical judgement.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or Vision.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Running minor illness and urgent care NP clinics.
• Telephone triage and patient streaming.
• Assessing, diagnosing and managing undifferentiated presentations.
• Prescribing independently where qualified.
• Reviewing investigations and actioning follow-up tasks.
• Ensuring accurate documentation within the clinical system.
• Supporting GPs and Practice Nurses with core clinical duties.
