Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to support regional community clinic services across Newbridge and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible locum sessions in varied community settings, suitable for autonomous clinicians able to assess and manage urgent patient needs.

You will contribute to community health by handling minor illnesses, providing triage, and delivering routine care within supportive teams.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with relevant clinical background.
• Prescribing qualification (V300) desirable.
• Experience in community, urgent care or primary care settings.
• Strong decision-making and assessment capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously in varied clinical environments.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Deliver NP-led sessions in community health clinics.
• Managing acute, minor illness and routine presentations.
• Supporting urgent care demand via telephone or face-to-face triage.
• Prescribing within scope where accredited.
• Completing clinical actions including results, reviews and follow-up tasks.
• Recording accurate and compliant clinical notes.
