Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to work at a GP practice in Croydon. The role focuses on autonomous NP-led clinics, minor illness management, urgent care, and seamless daily clinical activity.

You will perform telephone triage, assess and manage undifferentiated presentations, prescribe where qualified, and support GPs and Practice Nurses. Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or Vision is desirable, enhanced DBS preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with independent prescribing capability is preferred.
• Experience in primary/urgent/community care is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Running minor illness and urgent care NP clinics
• Telephone triage and patient streaming
• Assessing, diagnosing and managing undifferentiated presentations
• Prescribing independently where qualified
• Reviewing investigations and actioning follow-up tasks
• Maintaining accurate documentation within the clinical system
• Supporting GPs and Practice Nurses with core clinical duties
