Athona Limited is excited to present aLocum Learning Disabilities Consultant opportunity in the East Midlands. This full-time post supports an NHS Trust with specialist health assessments and treatments for people with learning disabilities, in a community setting.

Role offers Monday to Friday, 40 hours weekly, with flexible timings and potential remote work 1–2 days weekly. Candidates must have Learning Disabilities consultancy experience, Section 20 and AC status to be eligible.

Job Title: Learning Disabilities Consultant, East Midlands

Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Locum Learning Disabilities Consultant to work with an NHS Trust in the East Midlands. This full-time locum position is based in a Community setting where you will look provide specialist health support to people with learning disabilities who require assessment and/ or treatment for their physical or mental health.

Proposed working hours of working Monday – Friday, 40 hours a week.

The role is set to begin ASAP and will last for a 12 month initial contract with option to extend after, offering an hourly rate between £110 – £120. Please note that this position is inside IR35 payment guidelines.

What sets this role apart is that the role offers flexible working times/hours for doctors in order to help suit their routine outside of work. The Trust would also be open to remote working for 1-2 days a week. Overall, the trust offers exceptional opportunity for candidates seeking flexibility to cater for their personal needs.
