A leading recruitment agency is seeking a qualified Solicitor for a Locum Junior Planning & Highways Lawyer position. This remote role offers flexible working arrangements and the opportunity to manage various Planning and Highways matters. Ideal candidates will have recent local government experience and strong drafting skills. The position pays up to £50 per hour and lasts for an initial 3 months.

  • Drafting and negotiating Section 106 Agreements.
  • Advising and drafting Section 278/38 Highways Agreements.
  • Advising on and assisting with Compulsory Purchase Orders (CPOs) and related issues.
  • Providing clear advice on related matters to internal department and external stakeholders.

Locum Junior Planning & Highways Lawyer – Full Time – Up to £50 per hour umbrella – Remote Working – Initial 3+ months

Venn Group’s specialist Legal team are currently recruiting for a Junior Planning & Highways Lawyer to join a Local Authority on an initial 3+ month basis. The role offers flexible remote working arrangements and is a great opportunity for a newly qualified Solicitor to join a friendly team.

The Role

Position: Locum Junior Planning & Highways Lawyer

Duration: Initial 3+ months with the possibility for extension

Rate: Up to £50 per hour umbrella

Duties
  • Managing a varied caseload of Planning and Highways matters
  • Drafting and negotiating Section 106 Agreements
  • Advising and drafting Section 278/38 Highways Agreements
  • Advising on and assisting with Compulsory Purchase Orders (CPOs) and related issues
