Qualifications

• Degree in Cardiac Physiology or related field.
• HCPC registration required.
• Extensive experience in invasive cardiac procedures.
• Proficiency in cardiac catheterizations, EP studies, and pacemaker/ICD implantations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform invasive cardiac procedures including catheterizations, EP studies, and pacemaker/ICD implantations.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort.
• Collaborate with cardiologists to interpret results and inform care plans.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment; follow protocols.
• Support training of junior staff and contribute to departmental policies.
• Manage inventory and ensure safety in the catheterisation lab.
