Job summary

OutsideClinic is looking for experienced Hearing Aid Dispensers (HCPC-registered) to join us on a locum basis across London and surrounding areas. You will deliver high-quality audiology care to patients in their homes, with full support and training.

We offer a day rate of £275 plus mileage, with weekdays-only shifts and travel across your region. This role suits HADs who enjoy travelling and working independently with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as Hearing Aid Dispenser required.
• UK driving licence and access to own vehicle essential for home visits.
• Effective communicator, organised, able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage a daily schedule of 4-5 patient visits in patients' homes.
• Conduct Pure Tone Audiometry and relevant audiological assessments.
• Take aural impressions, fit hearing instruments, and verify fittings.
• Provide structured aftercare and patient support.
• Maintain equipment and follow infection control protocols.

Job Title: Locum Hearing Aid Dispenser
Reporting to: Regional Manager
Day Rate: Circa £275 per day + mileage
Location: London & surrounding areas
Days: Weekdays only, no weekends

Summary

We are looking for experienced Hearing Aid Dispensers (HCPC-registered) to join us on a locum basis. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality audiology care to patients in the comfort of their homes, ensuring they receive the best possible hearing support.

We provide full support, including training at Head Office for equipment, systems, and kit issue.

We are looking for HAD's who enjoy travelling and have the flexibility to work across all of London and the surrounding regions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a daily schedule of 4-5 adult patients with hearing loss in their own homes.
• Conduct Pure Tone Audiometry (including masking) and additional relevant audiological assessments.
• Take aural impressions, select and fit appropriate hearing instruments.
• Provide structured aftercare programmes and patient support.
• Use Real Ear Measurement equipment to validate and verify fittings.
• Maintain equipment and follow infection control protocols.
• Provide wax removal where required (training available).

Requirements

• Current HCPC registration as a Hearing Aid Dispenser.
• UK driving licence and access to your own reliable vehicle (essential for home visits).
• Effective communicator, organised, and able to work independently.
• Confident covering your allocated region with 4-5 patient visits per day.
• Comfortable using digital systems and clinical equipment.
