Job summary

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Locum Consultant to join the haematology clinical team based at Leighton Hospital, providing expert consultant-level care as part of a collaborative service. The post includes three outpatient clinics per week, on-call duties, and involvement with the Macmillan Cancer Care Unit for treatment and inpatient care.

The post holder will contribute to a seven-day service, work closely with GPs, and participate in the hematology MDTs.

Qualifications

• Experienced haematology consultant with NHS service delivery.
• Experience in outpatient clinics and inpatient haematology care.
• Ability to participate in on-call rotas and MDTs.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level haematology care at Leighton Hospital.
• Run three outpatient clinics per week and contribute to inpatient care.
• Participate in weekend and on-call duties as part of a 7-day service.
• Collaborate with GPs and multidisciplinary teams.
