Medicopartners is seeking an experienced Locum GP to provide flexible cover at our Dudley practice. This role offers varied sessions and a chance to work across different patient cohorts, with autonomy in scheduling.

The ideal candidate holds GMC registration, completed GP training (MRCGP or equivalent), and solid experience in UK general practice. You will diagnose, treat, and refer as needed, while maintaining GMC/NHS standards and collaborating with the team, using Adastra.

Location: Dudley

Contract Type: Temporary / Locum (flexible sessions available)

Salary:

Weekday 0800-2000 £81.50 hourly/rate

Weekday 2000-08:00 £86.50 hourly/rate

Weekend 0800-2000 £85.00 hourly/rate

Weekend 2000-00:00 £90.00 hourly/rate

Weekend 00:00-0800 £95.00 hourly/rate

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Locum GP to provide cover for our practice. This role offers flexibility in working hours and sessional commitments, making it ideal for GPs who value variety and autonomy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient consultations, diagnosis, and treatment across all age groups.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions, ensuring continuity of care.
• Provide high-quality, patient-centered medical services.
• Work collaboratively with practice staff, including nurses, healthcare assistants, and administrators.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with GMC and NHS standards.

Requirements:

• Medical degree and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
• Completed GP training and certification (MRCGP or equivalent).
• Previous experience working in UK general practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to different practice settings and patient needs.
