Job summary

Your World, a leading healthcare recruitment provider, seeks a General Sonographer to join a well-managed ultrasound service in Central London on a long-term locum contract. You will contribute to a busy clinical service and support high-quality patient care.

You should have 6–12 months in general ultrasound, hold a postgraduate qualification in medical ultrasound, be registered, and be available within two weeks, with a commitment of at least three months.

• Relevant Sonography qualification and professional registration.
• Available to start within 2 weeks and commit to at least 3 months.

Job description

A well-managed and friendly team in Central London is looking for a General Sonographer to join their ultrasound service for a long-term locum contract. The hourly pay rate for this role is £35 - £40 P/H all inclusive.

You will be expected to meet the below key requirements:

• Have a minimum of 6-12 months of experience in general ultrasound, ideally in the NHS
• Hold a relevant Sonography qualification (e.g., Postgraduate Diploma or MSc in Medical Ultrasound) and relevant professional registration
• Be available to commence the role within a maximum of 2 weeks from the confirmation, and happy to commit to a minimum period of three months

A suitable candidate for the role will ideally have previous experience in a similar position and genuinely enjoy their work. This individual is suited to someone who is a good listener, a great communicator and has a natural interest in problem-solving.
