Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking GMC-registered General Practitioners for flexible locum sessions in East Boldon. You will provide urgent access appointments, routine reviews, telephone consultations and clinical triage across multiple primary care settings.

This role offers autonomy and variety, with weekday, evening or weekend sessions and options for regular ongoing work or ad-hoc cover. Indemnity and Enhanced DBS are required.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered GP with NHS Performers List inclusion.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community primary care settings.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments.
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.

Responsibilities

You will support local services by delivering evidence-based GP care through urgent access appointments, routine reviews, telephone consultations and clinical triage.
