Qualifications

• Hold a Degree or equivalent in social work and maintain current Social Work England registration.
• Demonstrate substantial frontline experience in UK Social Services as a qualified Social Worker.
• Showcase strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for fostering positive relationships with carers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments for prospective foster carers, ensuring every child is matched with a loving and safe home.
• Provide ongoing support and supervision to foster carers, helping them navigate the challenges of fostering.
• Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to develop and implement care plans for children in foster care.
• Engage with external agencies and community partners to ensure all aspects of a child’s development are addressed.
• Keep detailed and accurate records in line with local authority and regulatory standards.
