A leading healthcare organization in London is seeking a Locum Consultant Dermatologist to join its dynamic team. The position involves providing high-quality care in both outpatient and surgical settings, with responsibilities including supervision of junior doctors and contributing to teaching. Applications are invited for a Locum Consultant Dermatologist (Adult and Paediatric) to join the Dermatology Department at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. This 6 PA post is based at St Mary's Hospital.
We are looking for dynamic and forward-looking applicants to join a cohesive team of thirteen consultants in a cross-site department which continues to engage in an ongoing programme of outpatient transformation, digitalisation and modernisation.
Applicants must be on the GMC Specialist Register for Dermatology, or be within 6 months of obtaining Certificate of Completion of Training or equivalent at time of interview.
Start date: ASAP, ideally November 2025
Clinical work will be divided between outpatient clinics (adult and paediatric), skin surgery (adults), electronic referral triage / Advice & Guidance. Additional clinical roles include review of inpatients, attendance at multidisciplinary skin cancer meetings, and a monthly Complex Medical Dermatology clinic. Non-clinical time will be allocated to maintain professional development. Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust prides itself on high-quality teaching and training, and the post-holder would be required to contribute to teaching of undergraduates and supervising trainees.
