Job summary

Sellick Partnership is recruiting a Locum Contracts Lawyer for a North West local authority. The role is 3–6 months with a strong view to extension, offering £55–£65 per hour, DOE. It supports remote or hybrid working, with office attendance preferred where possible.

The ideal candidate will have extensive contracts experience and be able to manage a varied weekly caseload within a friendly team setting. Flexible full- or part-time hours are available.

Locum Contracts Lawyer

North West

A highly reputable Local Authority in the North West is seeking a Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to join their friendly team for an initial 3 - 6 month period with the strong view for extension.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced lawyer with experience in Contracts to add more variation to their weekly caseload, joining a friendly and supportive team on a full or part-time basis.

Candidates can work on a fully remote basis, but office attendance would be favoured.

Responsibilities for the Contracts Lawyer will include, but are not limited to:

• Routine and complex contract and procurement matters
• Preparing, negotiating, and advising on all aspects relating to legal projects
• Advising and negotiating Contractual agreements

Local authority experience is preferable; however, our client is willing to consider Contracts Lawyers from other backgrounds with transferable skills.
