A leading healthcare provider in Walsall is seeking enthusiastic locum radiologists to join their team. The role offers flexible working patterns and emphasizes a range of subspecialties in radiology including non-vascular intervention and nuclear medicine. Successful candidates will support a busy department and work collaboratively with a team of specialists, ensuring high-quality patient care. Opportunities for part-time work are also available.
Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust have invested in the radiology team and are looking to recruit enthusiastic, motivated, skilled locum radiologists to join the team of thirteen consultant radiologists, 2 consultant sonographers and 2 consultant reporting radiographers. An ability to undertake non-vascular interventional procedures in a busy DGH would be an advantage; any subspecialist interest will be considered. All other subspecialties will be considered depending on application volume and fulfilment of the posts.
The proposed job plan typically is 10 programmed activities. Part-time consultants are welcome to apply with a minimum part-time pattern of 6 programmed activities. The Trust supports 1.5 SPA for personal development and individual quality with a further negotiable PA time for educational supervision or lead roles (e.g., REALM lead, Audit lead, Guideline lead, and modality leads).
