Job summary

A medical staffing agency is offering a locum position for an Oncology Consultant in North Yorkshire. Job description

We are pleased to present an exciting locum opportunity for an Oncology Consultant. This role offers valuable experience working in a dynamic medical environment with focus on Upper GI & Lung.

As a Consultant in Oncology, you will play a vital role in the care of patients within the Upper GI & Lung Oncology units. You will be expected to provide expert clinical care, manage treatment plans, and contribute to the multidisciplinary team while providing 1 in 7 on-call cover.

• Grade: Consultant
• Specialty: Oncology
• Location: North Yorkshire
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration of Contract: 3 Months – View to Extend
• On-Call: 1 in 7 on-call
• Hours: 40 hours per week (5 days x 8 hours)

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in Medical Oncology, particularly within Upper GI & Lung specialities.
• Full registration with the GMC and eligibility to work in the UK.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the clinical team.

This is a locum role offering great flexibility, whilstworking 40 hours per week with an on-call schedule of 1 in 7.
