A healthcare institution in Hull is looking for a Consultant Ophthalmologist. This role involves providing Glaucoma clinics, delivering Ophthalmic services, and participating in a consultant on-call rota. Candidates should expect to share facilities with existing consultants and may have flexible working options. This position offers an opportunity to join a large team dedicated to excellent patient care.
The successful candidate will assume a direct clinical role within the department, sharing all facilities equally with the existing consultants. This is a substantive post and the appointee will be joining 32 Consultant Ophthalmologist posts already established. The successful candidate will work 11 PAs per week, which will include an 8.5 DCC and 1.5 SPA split (Flexible working may be considered) in addition to 1 PA for on-call work. It is expected that the successful applicant will play an active role in the consultant on call rota.
