A prominent healthcare organization in Guildford is seeking a Full-Time Locum Consultant in General Surgery with a specialization in Colorectal Surgery. The role involves responsibilities within the emergency general surgery service, conducting outpatient clinics, and contributing to a team of experienced surgeons. Candidates should possess FRCS (Gen) and relevant clinical experience. The position offers a salary between £109,725 and £145,478 based on experience.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Full Time (10PA) Locum Consultant in General Surgery, with a specialist interest in Colorectal Surgery, at The Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust, Guildford for a fixed period of 1 year. The successful appointee will provide support for the emergency general surgery service and work alongside the established team of five colorectal surgeons as well as the wider General Surgical consultant body.
The successful applicant will have to evidence an interest in, and a commitment to, colorectal surgery and possess well-developed skills in minimal access surgery (laparoscopic or robotic), as well as be JAG accredited to delivery diagnostic colonoscopy. The post holder will be encouraged to contribute and further develop skills as part of a highly supportive colorectal team.
Applicants must be in possession of the FRCS (Gen) or equivalent qualification, and be fully registered with the GMC.
