Job description

This is a full‑time fixed‑term post of 12 months within the Medicine and Emergency Care Division. The post is suited to an ambitious physician who provides high‑quality inpatient services in a high performing Trust and contributes to continuous improvement in care of inpatients with general medical conditions.

Responsibilities

You will be expected to lead and deliver care as a consultant in a friendly, supportive team, provide high‑quality inpatient services, and strive for continuous improvement in the care of inpatients with general medical conditions.

Qualifications
  • Completed CESR in General (Internal) Medicine
  • Completed Higher Specialist Training or within six months of obtaining a Certificate of Completion of Training and entry onto the GMC Specialist Register
Development Opportunities

Opportunities are available and will be supported by the division for development of a special interest, and allocation of a session to focus on quality improvement and service development. The role can be adapted to incorporate a developing or established clinical interest.
